Someone please help my tattoo is almost 2 weeks old and it looks smudged and not completely filled in?
I got a large back tattoo from Renown Celtic Artist Pat Fish. When it was first done it looked perfect. but it has been a week and a half (installed on Jan. 27th) and it looks a little lighter and the areas that are meant to be completely black, looked smudged and not quite completely filled in. some of the lines look thinner than others also. this is my first tattoo and it is quite big and expensive and i am very nervous that it cannot be fixed and will look like this forver. keep in mind NONE of the LINES are smudged. just the areas that are supposed to be black and some of the shaded areas. it looks easily repairable but i have no idea what tattoo artists are capable of when it comes to repairing these things. im 18 years old so my freakout here is very understandable. i followed her intructions to the T. I moisturized with the Curel lotion she told me to use every hour, i kept it out of the sun, and kept it as dry as possible. Someone please help me 
i have a friend who got a huge black tribal piece. everything looked good when done but after it healed he also had some holes. he was told since is was such a big area that the ink smeared on the skin can cover some small holes and make them look filled in. if that has happened and that is what it seems like just go in and show him and he will fix it no problem no artist wants a bad name

It’s pretty cool. It’s obvious that it’s water/ocean related.
The artist you take it to can do some work and will have to probably rework it a bit.
Just my opinion – but if I were you I’d get rid of the line coming off each tail going to the bottom of the fish following? the little black line looks like it is right where a fish peen would be. Just my opinion.
