i have an appointment in the next few days to get a tattoo done on a recommendation by a customer now the design i gave her was pretty complicated (or so i think) and i havent seen any of her artwork (yes i know that was rather foolish) now ive been reading posts saying that nobody in Exeter can do any good tattoos and im better off going elsewhere altho none of these posts refer too INK specifically and the people who have been inked by Lauren have been happy (dont know what they had done could have been simple designs) seen a couple of designs by another studio in Exeter and i was appalled a select few were hideous and of laughable quality and it got me thinking is mine gonna turn out the same?
ok so is anybody out there carrying a Lauren Gow tattoo? (the more detailed/complex/difficult the better and any pics would be great)

Good for you asking – maybe you should go to the studio and ask to see her portfolio, she won’t be offended.
I went to a new studio that opened in my town, it looked lovely, nice, clean very professional, i had a big tattoo on my back, that i’d wanted for a long time, and it was a disaster, the art work was awful, I was in agony, they swapped artists half way through, my back ended up scarred (raised white marks where they’d dug too deep) and the lettering was very wrong. I went to my local newspaper and the studio paid me to drop the story – I took the money and had my back “made better” at a more well known tattoo store.
The lesson I learned was NEVER have a tattoo without checking out the artist, the store and finding people and asking for their opinions.
