Im getting a Tribal Hammerhead tattoo on my right leg. And want to know the tribe/region it comes from.
I believe its Maori, but its hard to find this exact design on the net. Do you know what comes from? And/Or if it has a signifigant meaning? I, of course, know what it means to ME but i would love to know its history.

or a combination of regions
but a large portion is just drawn by guys who knew tribal was trendy

but not as detailed and alot smaller half the size really.
The cost of getting that inked depends really on the tattoo artist. Roughly I’d say it would be anywhere between $250-300.
Sorry for being so blunt but if you were to get that design at half it’s original size, it is likely to look like a blob. However, take into the shop you’re going to get it done and enquire.
