Tattoos and piercings how many do you think would be pushing the line from art into just plain trashy? ?
I currently have two arm pieces/chest, a shoulder blade piece, one on my leg and one on my foot all beautiful pieces of Japanese art but I kind of want more because its addicting but I don’t want to run the risk of looking trashy if that is even possible. It’s either that or another piercing because they are just as addicting but less permanent. However, I have run out of ideas… I don’t do facial piercings very well thanks to my two year olds grabby hands. and this is what I already have pierced:Tongue, nipples, naval, cartilage, and ears… Anything new and exciting in the world of body piercing!
I know some of you think ALL tattoos and piercings are trashy and I respect your opinion, it is definitely not a lifestyle for everyone so please use your one-liners elsewhere. 
If you are truly concerned that strangers will think you are trashy if you get more tattoos, and the opinions of said strangers are important, I suppose you should stop getting tattoos.
I have over 50% of my body covered with tattoos but most are hidden with regular clothing. I LOVE IT when a mutual acquaintance goes on a long tirade about heavily tattooed women being drug addicts (not me), having illegitimate kids (I’m childfree by choice), unmarried (me married 15 years), lazy (I work 2 jobs), etc.
Then I say, “Want to see my back piece?”
The look on their face is PRICELESS.

A thorough examination on the possible infections or irritations can help you.
Most of the youngsters and teenagers prefer this. It gives a funky and fair look. Both men and women get it done for various reasons. Many of them do it to get a nice image. Young girls prefer naval piercing to look clear. It can cost you a certain amount that you must be prepared to spend in advance. Healing may also take a long time depending on the type of piercing.
What are the risks with body piercing?
Piercing may cause infections, allergic reactions, bleeding, and damage to nerves or teeth too. The piercer should wash his/her hands before piercing and preferably use gloves and sterile equipment. You should also take all precautionary measures to avoid any infections.
You must ensure that the needle used to prick is sterilized to avoid infection like HIV. Moreover, infections are also caused by bacteria getting into the puncture of the piercing may also happen later. This can happen even after the piercing has healed. It is advisable piercing guns not be used for body piercing as they cannot be sterilized. Many a times, infection can also occur due to wrong kind of jewellery for the area. Small jewellery can also cut off the blood supply to the tissue, causing swelling and pain. It can also happen if the jewellery is too thin or heavy. You could be allergic to the metal. If you are planning to get tongue piercing done, it is advisable to use tongue bars. This is a safe option. They can also be used for nipples. You could choose from a wide range of styles and variety.

Yes, you are at risk, but that doesn’t mean you can’t. I know diabetics who have successfully healed tattoos.
But you definately want to discuss it with a doctor, and with your tattoo artist in order to determine what your best course of action is.
