Suggestions on location for my second tattoo?
I already have a tattoo on the small of my back. I want to get another one of fair-sized bluebird holding a cherry blossom in its beak in flight. I was thiking about putting it on my hip, but I am worried about what would happen to it if I ever got pregnant. I really want it on my hip or side somewhere, not no my back or arm or leg or anything. Is there a location on the side or somewhere on the hip that won’t stretch if a woman gets pregnant?
I don’t have a tattoo yet, I will get one when I’m done with pregnancies… I’m now 5 months pregnant and have a scar on my side…. it was only about 2inches long before, and now it’s nearly 5inches….
During pregnancy, some women get HUGE (like me), at 5months people think I am already 8 months…. and anything anywhere on your body stretches, even your back and thighs!
I’d suggest either waiting till you are done popping out the kids, or talk to the artist about how difficult it will be to retouch after the pregnancy, and let the artist help you pick out a place.

what kind of trees go w/ bluebirds?
i want to get a tattoo of a tree up the side of my torso with the roots snaking down the side and i wanted a little bluebird on one of the branches. the best trees i can find are rowan trees, walnut trees, and cyprus trees, (maybe willows). anyhow, it would be stupid to get a tattoo w/ a tree from one part of the world and a bird from another, do u understand what i mean? so i was wondering if someone could tell me either what kind of birds go with any of thoses trees, or what kind of trees goees w/ that bird
p.s. yes i know that is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo but i’ve thought about this alot and i am so excited!
also, this tattoo would have meaning to it, i would never get a tattoo on some random whim!

Sounds like a pretty cool sounding tat. I would recommend finding samples of the tress you listed, and taking them to the artist you are planning on have it done by. He(or she) will be able to give their expert opinion on what kind would look best. They are after all the ones that do this day in and day out.
I personally don’t think that getting a tree from one part of the world with a bird from another would be stupid. If anyone gives you crap about it, slap them. It isn’t their skin, if they don’t like it tough.
