Is giving your 1 year old a hair cut unusual?
I have a one year old son with very thick and unmanageable hair. Well it was until I decided to have it professionally cut. He wasn’t hurt in the process and infact makes his appearance so much more adorable…he has the cutest face and a perfect head. I was told that it was a comparison to having his ear pierced or getting him a tattoo, I mean who would get a one year old a tattoo and to be frank I know alot of little girls that get their ear pierced long before they are one years old. Not that I was even considering piercing his ear. I know this is a ridiculous statement, I have four boys and each of them had hair cuts around the same age. My son doesn’t have to deal with the discomfort of having his hair combed…that was unbearable for him and me.
Whoever said those things must be complete idiots! Your child is more comfortable and happier who could argue with that. Besides that it’s your call… nobody’s opinion matters but yours and the child’s father. As long as your not harming the child that’s all that matters.
